OR Magazine: The Essential Edition

OR Magazine has always been an entirely digital publication, but in 2020 this took on a whole new meaning as the team was forced to shift to an entirely virtual workspace. Conceptualizing and editing over Zoom calls, reporting and photographing while social distancing, and navigating ways of collaborating without being in the same room as the rest of the team made this edition especially challenging and rewarding to create.

The 2020 edition explores the meaning of essentialism at beginning of COVID-19 lockdowns, an era that has completely redefined what “essential” means to society.
